Sneak Peak on BlackBird Fashion!

Ah, the great month of september is approaching us! Especially, for all those who live in NYC, prepare for all those who are stylists or claim to be, for all they know, its Fashion Week. I digress, but our great lads at BlackBird Designs have given a preview into their fall season. The dynamic duo consists of Zeddie Lukoe and Sydney Owino. Having been featured on Africa Fashion Week 2011, they have placed kenyan fashion in Menswear on the Map, especially in New York City.

Kenya's Camp Mulla at BET Awards

This year, Kenya received its FIRST representation at the BET AWARDS! The group Camp Mulla was nominated for Best International Act.  It definitely shows a lot for BET to choose this young, fresh and talented group. Although, they sadly did not win the award, they were given the opportunity to spread their names and Kenyan's new grove into the US market. I expect to hear much more about them soon!
