I'M BACK!!

FINALLLYYYYY!
I’ve been away too long, my last post was on November 10th 2010, that's crazy but it’s understandable. I've been too busy with organizing my life, my family stuff and my school stuff BUT nevertheless, I’m bacCc and I'm excited to post again and to continue doing so.
1st Thing: HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
2010 can claim “Worst Year” award for many various reasons but it’s the past and I’m looking forward to moving on. One thing I did do that was special in 2010 was go back to KENYA! It was so much fun to see my cousins again and just re-kindle old jokes/stupid things we do together.

2nd Thing: 2011, Mu$umbz is doing work!

I really want to start including a lot more on things in Africa, culturally, musically, plus with fashion( just putting that in there) and also start posting a lot about free concerts/events happening in the N.Y.C but it takes time and I’m still new to blogger, so I’m still learning and it’s going to be a process but I’m with it.  I’ve just had a change of attitude this year and I can sense that with it, it’s going to be great. I’m more appreciative of time, effort, and people nowadays because life truly is short and it’s taken for granted. What inspired me to write today was just seeing a lot of African culture influencing young black girls/women in our time period using African culture/prints to inspire their clothes today and how every day I see someone wearing an African print either in the train or in a magazine, and they are dressed very well. Plus That’s why I’m going to be doing a lot more inspiration posts with daily om/quotes, because those young black girls/women inspire me and I feel as though I should inspire people as well with what I know BUT it’s also  because want to keep the blog alive and updated (lolz).
